Customers love Mountain Mike’s pizza. Our pizza franchises were recently ranked among the Franchise Times 200+ thanks to our sales

Mountain Mike’s is not just “Pizza The Way It Oughta Be.” We’re also pizza franchises the way they oughta be. Just ask the folks at Franchise Times, where we were recently recognized as one of the top pizza franchises based on global sales performance in the Top 200+ franchise ranking.

The annual Franchise Times Top 200+ list “is the result of a five-month research and reporting effort that leads to the most credible and objective franchise ranking available,” said Franchise Times Editor Laura Michaels. Franchise Times published the full list in its October issue, “ranking the 500 largest franchise systems in the United States by global systemwide sales, based on the previous year’s performance.”

Our California-based pizza franchise has more than 200 locations throughout the Western U.S., and we’ve been going strong for over 40 years. Our customers are not just loyal, they’re generational. Some of the same people who were dining with us in 1978 are bringing in their grandkids today.

We pride ourselves on serving up fresh, quality pizza and on being a hub for family and neighborhood gatherings. Making ourselves part of the community sets us apart from the bigger pizza franchises whose locations number in the thousands and who tend not to focus on the dining-in experience as much as Mountain Mike’s does. About a third of our sales come from dining in, while the remaining two-thirds are divided among pickup and delivery.

As for the product? Fresh dough, made in-house daily, 100% whole-milk mozzarella cheese and our legendary crispy, curly pepperoni. Plus, we offer guests oven-roasted wings, garlic sticks, an all-you-can-eat salad bar, and a variety of beer and wine.

Where we’re growing

Mountain Mike’s has increased our same-store sales over the past few years, and we’re looking to grow strategically throughout Central, Northern, and Southern California, Arizona, Nevada and Colorado. Our brand is known in all of these regions, but there are still many opportunities to expand.

Startup costs are typically between $208,020 and $593,520, depending on the type of location you choose, and we are open to both single and multi-unit developers.
