We’re holding steady as a top pizza chain, growing units and sales as we continue to stand out in a crowded market
Americans love our pizza, downing about 350 slices per second according to CHD Expert. So it’s nice to be considered a top pizza chain by the likes of PMQ, which designated Mountain Mike’s as one of the Top 20 Chains in the Power Pizza Report for 2020.
In fact, we rose two spots this year to make it into the annual report’s top 20 pizza chains for sales. It’s the kind of validation, along with being ranked in the Entrepreneur Franchise 500, that’s spreading the word about our franchise opportunity and helping fuel our growth.
As a beloved West Coast brand since 1978, Mountain Mike’s has been serving up high-quality pizza in a family-friendly environment for generations. One of our big market differentiators is that about a third of our sales come from dine-in traffic. Other big pizza chains focus mostly on delivery and carry-out. Mountain Mike’s actually becomes a favorite gathering spot in the communities we serve.
About the Power Pizza Report
The Power Pizza Report, published annually by PMQ magazine, is a state-of-the-industry analysis that examines the latest trends and forecasts what’s next. For the booming pizza industry, the scales are tipping in favor of pizza chains over independents. The digital landscape is a challenge facing everyone in the restaurant industry, and the pizza segment may be meeting it more efficiently than some others.
With a third of our sales coming from dine-in traffic, that’s where Mountain Mike’s shines. We boast strong sales in carry-out and delivery, but we stand out from other pizza franchise chains with our strong community appeal.
